This is not just about the history of weddings and it’s
memorabilia, but also the true beauty of weddings. Taking
the best of the past and combining it with the new,
displays an intimate portrait of our society.
Displayed here are vintage wedding fashion and memorabilia
from the 1880’s to the 1950’s. Many of the
photos included are from a recent three week exhibit
at the History Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
We dedicate this collection to those people who originally
wore and owned these garments and items. These things
of beauty may cause others to reflect upon the individuals
who have selected these clothes and accessories to wear
on their most special day.
A belated toast is offered to each couple on the celebration
